We are getting closer to regular poultry meetings!
Be sure to post meaningful goals below.
We are going to use the pages from the green poultry folders for
learning, but you can go ahead and read through and learn things as you like.
Just don't open the feed bags!
If you like to garden as well as keep poultry, consider planting a "nest box herb garden" https://www.fresheggsdaily.blog/2019/12/save-money-by-mixing-your-own-diy-dried.html
The first round of goals (neatened up, all in one comment). Please make sure these get to your records and try to add to your goals so you have 5 each~ To add more here, please reply.
For my two goals, one is for my bird to behave better, my Second is to get better at knowing what types of chickens lay what color of eggs. --Liam

We will be setting up our first coop. My first goal is to learn what to feed the chickens and when to feed them. My other goal is to find out what to do to keep predators away. - Oliver
To be better at handling my chicken, increase my chicken knowledge, designing a new coop for lots of chickens that is good in summer and winter ..we will be doing that this summer. - Adaline Ploof
How to make our current coop usable for chickens (it came with our house when we bought it) and how to keep them safe. - Harper
Get more eggs (and to have it not be a rooster). To see if they will trust us more if I spend more time with them. - Nora
We're going to go over some of this at our first meeting. It's about setting up the brooder. https://www.fresheggsdaily.blog/2018/02/beginners-guide-to-getting-started.html
